MCShield is a handy application that was created in order to provide you with a means of securing your USB drives, scanning and quarantining malware.
The software comes equipped with a powerful heuristic engine that will help you detect and neutralize threats in real-time.
· fixed a scanner issue that could cause long scan times in case of very large exe files;
· fixed an installer issue that caused the autoupdate interval to be set to 2 even if program was previously installed;
· implemented quarantine encryption;
· implemented direct autorun.inf whitelisting (previously: only indirect whitelisting was possible);
· implemented a new generic detection routine (to better cover the "blended behaviour" worm that's currently in the wild);
· added Slovenian language (thanks to translator Darth.Mikey);
· added Norwegian language (thanks to translator Pondus);
· added Spanish language (thanks to translator iroc9555);
· added Spanish help file (available on the website, translated by iroc9555);
· improved autoupdate (previously: checked new program version only after RTM starts; now: checks every time RTM does an update);
· modified (additional fine tuning) detection routines for malware related folders (those that use same names as legit folders)
