allpc4world: How To Add An Image And Meta Tag To Mp3 Songs

In this post I’m going to tell you about an amazing software by which you can edit the meta tag of mp3 songs and can add any picture or cover art to mp3 songs. That’s Mp3tag, the best free powerful mp3 tag editor I’ve ever seen. It’s very easy to use. Here I’ll show you how can you use this software to add an image or cover art to an audio file and how to edit meta tag. Because you’ll need the proper meta data if you use any lyric displaying software. Very soon I’ll write a post about how can you display the lyric during playing music.

First download Mp3tag from here then install.
After installing run Mp3tag from your desktop. The main window of Mp3tag will look like this -

Now in Mp3tag drag the songs for whom you want to add meta data or cover art.

I just dragged the songs of the album ‘RED by Taylor Swift’. As you are seeing those songs have no meta tag or title, artist, album name neither any cover art. We are going to add a cover art, title name, artist name, album name etc. to those songs.
After dragging the songs into Mp3tag press ‘Ctrl+A’ to select all songs.
Just fill the boxes in left panel with proper information. But by selecting all songs you can’t change the title name of all songs. Because each song has a different title. So you’ve to add the title name for all songs one after one.
If you have the cover art in your hard disk then right click and click Add cover… as shown in the image above. Locate the cover art then add.
After all changes press ‘Ctrl+S’ to save all tags.
You can also set the cover art directly from Amazon. Just go Tag Sources → Cover Art → Amazon.com
